The original purpose of the beautiful Son Brull Hotel is a far cry from today's reality, the building itself dates back to the 18th Century and served as a Monastery and has been symphathetically restored over an 18 months period back in 2003 to transform it into the stunning hotel it is today. The hotel is locally run as a family business but is part of the Relais & Chateaux since 2005. One of the core values and ethos is organic and sustainable products, sourced and grown by themselves or throughout Mallorca. The home produce from Son Brull is ever expanding with new grape fields for producing wine, organic fruit and vegetables, olives for olive oil and many others. Their pride in Mallorca doesn't stop there as they involved the Mallorcan interior designer Ignasi Forteza who created a vanguard style space to the hotel offering a feeling of calm to guests. The artworks throughout the hotel are also all produced by local artists encouraged to capture the essence of Mallorca in their works.
